Additional Terms and Conditions for Greenwheels Rewards

Introduction and Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to the loyalty programme Greenwheels Rewards (hereinafter referred to as the programme) and supplement Greenwheels’ general terms and conditions. By participating in Greenwheels Rewards, the driver agrees to these additional terms and conditions. In the event of any conflict between these additional terms and Greenwheels’ general terms and conditions, these additional terms shall prevail solely concerning matters specific to Greenwheels Rewards.

 

 

Definitions

  • Greenwheels Rewards: The loyalty programme that allows Greenwheels drivers to reach milestones and earn rewards.
  • Milestone: A specific achievement or action within the programme, as indicated in the Rewards Dashboard.
  • Reward: A benefit that can be claimed upon achieving one or more milestones.
  • Rewards dashboard: The platform within the Greenwheels app and website where progress in the programme can be tracked.

 

Use and Participation

  1. Participation in Greenwheels Rewards is optional. Drivers may deactivate the programme at any time.
  2. Only drivers with an active Greenwheels account can participate. Drivers must be part of an account with a private or self-employed tariff.
  3. Milestones and rewards can only be earned or claimed while the programme is active.
  4. Actions taken before the programme is activated, or while it is deactivated, do not count towards milestone achievements.


Milestones and Rewards

  1. The conditions for achieving and claiming milestones are displayed in the dashboard.
  2. Some milestones have an expiry date, which is stated in the dashboard. It is the driver’s responsibility to achieve and claim milestones in time.
  3. Milestones, or collections of milestones, must first be claimed before any associated reward becomes available. If a milestone or collection of milestones has an expiry date, they can no longer be achieved or claimed once expired.
  4. Rewards may have a limited validity period. Details regarding validity will be provided when the reward is issued.
  5. Unused rewards and expired milestones cannot be reactivated or compensated.

 

Liability and Errors

  1. Greenwheels Rewards is not part of Greenwheels’ core services. The programme is provided as is and may contain technical errors.
  2. Greenwheels makes every effort to prevent and resolve errors. Drivers are encouraged to report technical issues to customer service.
  3. Greenwheels is not liable for any damage or missed rewards resulting from technical failures, errors in the dashboard, or other circumstances beyond its control.

 

Privacy and Data Processing

  1. The programme adheres to Greenwheels’ general privacy policy.
  2. By participating in the programme, the driver agrees to the processing of data necessary for managing the programme. This includes recording actions and achieved milestones.
  3. If Greenwheels Rewards is deactivated, data will be retained so the programme can be reactivated without loss of progress.
  4. If the Greenwheels account is closed, data will be deleted in accordance with the general privacy policy.


Termination and Modification

  1. Drivers may opt out of the programme at any time via the Rewards dashboard.
  2. Greenwheels reserves the right to modify or terminate the programme. Changes to the programme, including milestones and rewards, may be implemented without prior notice. Termination of the programme will be communicated in advance.
  3. If milestones or rewards are modified, the new conditions will immediately apply to all drivers who have not yet achieved the respective milestones or rewards. Drivers cannot claim milestones or rewards based on previous conditions.
  4. If the programme is terminated, all outstanding milestones and unused rewards will expire without compensation.


Other Provisions

  1. These additional terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.
  2. Disputes relating to Greenwheels Rewards are subject to the same provisions outlined in Greenwheels’ general terms and conditions.
